How we research, write, check and update the calculators and guides on this site.

By Sandeep · Updated November 2026

Our Commitment

People use our tools for test scores, school decisions and their children’s health, so accuracy comes first. Every page aims to be correct, clear, up to date and honest about its limits.

How Content Is Created

  1. Research: we start with primary sources, such as test manuals, publisher guidance, government and health organization guidelines, and peer-reviewed studies.
  2. Writing: content is written in plain English for the people who will use it. We may use software tools, including AI writing assistants, to help with drafting and editing.
  3. Checking: every page is reviewed by Sandeep before it is published. Facts are checked against sources and every worked example and formula is recalculated.
  4. Publishing: each page shows the author and the date it was last reviewed.

Sources We Trust

We avoid relying on forums, unsourced blogs or other calculator sites as evidence.

Medical and Professional Disclaimer

Our content is for information and education only. It is not medical, psychological or legal advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional. Clinical tools, such as the biological age and developmental age calculators, give estimates that should be discussed with a doctor or clinician.

Updates and Corrections

We review pages regularly and update them when guidelines, tests or research change. If we find or are told about an error, we fix it as quickly as possible and, for significant changes, note what was corrected. You can report a problem on our contact page.

Independence and Advertising

We are independent and not affiliated with any test publisher. Any advertising or affiliate links are kept separate from editorial decisions and never change what we recommend. For details of how our calculators work, see the methodology page.
